MitoPorto is an International Symposium which address Mitochondrial Evolution, Metabolism and disease organized by the University of Porto. The day offered keynote lectures from speakers such as Zofia Chrzanowska-Lightowlers (Wellcome Trust Centre for Mitochondrial Research, UK), Paulo J. Oliveira (CNC.IBILI, Biocant, U.Coimbra, PT), Célia Nogueira (National Institute of Health, INSA-IP, PT) and CfMR’s own Gyorgy Szabadkai and Nick Lane as well as oral communications selected from abstracts and poster sessions.
