I am Priya Dipta from India. I did my school and college from different states of India. I totally belong to Military family background. I have completed my Bachelors in Microbiology and Masters in Life
Sciences. My master project was on “Isolation of Cellulolytic Bacteria and Its Evaluation in Utilization
of Bioaugment Preparation” under proper guidance of Prof.Dr. Padmashree Kulkarni from life
science department Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. The purpose of this work is to Isolate and
characterize cellulose degrading bacteria, mass multiply the efficient strain and evaluate the possible
utilization of it in bioaugment preparation. The significance of this project is to enhance the process
of garbage waste treatment which is a huge concern in sustainable science. I have worked for United Nations World Food Programme for few months in Bamako, Mali, West Africa. I am selected by Professor Boaz Tirosh from Hebrew University, Jerusalem for “Treatment” project and currently working under the Department of Pharmacology, faculty of Medicine at Hadassah Medical Centre, Jerusalem, Israel.
