Our ESR2 Doctoral Thesis: Effects of the Second Generation Antipsychotics olanzapine and aripiprazole in beta cell functionality and pancreatic islet plasticity.
Our ESR2, Diana Grajales Abellán, defended her Ph.D. dissertation on December 11th at the Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas “Alberto Sols”. Her Ph.D. dissertation, entitled “Effects of the Second Generation Antipsychotics olanzapine and aripiprazole in beta cell functionality and pancreatic islet plasticity” achieved the best mark. Diana’s work has been supervised by Prof. Ángela M. Valverde at the Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas in Madrid and co-supervised by Prof. Boaz Tirosh at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
