ITNTREATMENT attended the EUSEA Annual Conference that was celebrated in Madrid last week, on May 17 and 18. The host was the EUSEA member Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d and the venue was the marvellous Círculo de Bellas Artes.

Science communication experts and practitioners from around the world were there for two days full of discussions, debates, talks, sessions and workshops. Boost your collaborations and networking opportunities with colleagues from Europe and beyond!

The conference programme offered a main workshop sharing what comes up when they used performing arts in science engagement, 24 horizon talks, 8 workshops and 4 team sessions, and an outstanding dinner.

Eric Jensen, from University of Warwick participated in a Preconference Training that provided tools and visions about impact evaluation of science festivals and related endorsing activities.

The Conference was supported by Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería y Diseño Industrial, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Real Jardín Botánico-CSIC (Royal Botanic Garden-CSIC).
