The World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics took place on 26-31 of October, 2019, in Los Angeles, California.

Our ESR Dora Koller -ESR12- attended the event and presented a poster entitled “Effects of the atypical antipaychotic aripiprazole on plasma prolactin levels related to pharmacogenetics in healthy volunteers”.

The theme of this year´s WCPG, “Achieving Precision Psychiatry” aimed to examine the precise discipline of psychiatric genetics and educate all researchers in neuroscience, neurobiology and genetics.

“Achieving Precision Psychiatry” will be paramount in order to develop new treatments for people with major mental illness.

Scientifics from all over the world again came together for this five-days conference to share their expertise, research findings and personal experiences with the goal of improving the quality of life for those living with psychiatric disorders.
