Ángela M. Valverde, coordinator of ITN TREATMENT and member of CIBERDEM, attended the EMBO Workshop entitled “Organ crosstalk in energy balance and metabolic disease (8-11th April, 2019) in Chiclana, Cadiz, Spain.

The Workshop was focused on understanding the recent progress in adipocyte biology (cell fate and browning), liver metabolism including steatosis and the role of the central nervous system in the control of the energy homeostasis.
