IX Conferencia anual Vet+i: Los beneficios para la sociedad de la I+D+i en Sanidad Animal

La IX Conferencia Anual va a llevar por título “Los beneficios para la sociedad de la I+D+i en Sanidad Animal”, con el objetivo de conocer el impacto real que la vanguardia de la innovación tiene en las personas desde el punto de vista tanto de los animales de producción como de los animales de compañía, a través de la intervención de responsables públicos y representantes de organizaciones sectoriales y profesionales en esta materia.

Se contará con la participación de expertos de reconocido prestigio como Juan María Vázquez, Secretario General de Ciencia e Innovación del Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad (MINECO) que realizará una presentación sobre “Las Políticas de España de I+D+i, los retos y su proyección de futuro” y Beatriz Muñoz, Subdirectora General de Sanidad e Higiene Animal y Trazabilidad del MAPAMA que hablará sobre la “Contribución de la innovación en Sanidad Animal en la lucha contra las zoonosis”.

También, se ha organizado una mesa redonda para hablar del “valor que aporta la I+D+i en Sanidad Animal a la sociedad” y en la que intervendrán responsables públicos, representantes de organizaciones sectoriales y expertos en esta materia en nuestro país como la Jefa del Departamento de Medicamentos Veterinarios de la Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios (AEMPS), Consuelo Rubio; el Director del Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Tecnología Agraria y Alimentaria (INIA), Manuel Lainez; el Presidente de la Conferencia de Decanos de Veterinaria de España (CdVE) y Decano de la Facultad de Veterinaria de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), Pedro Lorenzo; el Presidente de la Asociación Empresarial de la Industria de Sanidad y Nutrición Animal (Veterindustria), Juan Carlos Castillejo; la Directora de la Asociación Española de Productores de Huevos (ASEPRHU), Mar Fernández, y la Profesora titular del Departamento de Sanidad Animal de la Facultad de Veterinaria de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), Guadalupe Miró. La mesa redonda estará moderada por el Responsable de comunicación de la Fundación Vet+i, Juan Marcos Vallejo.

Además, en el evento habrá una alta representación institucional con la participación de responsables públicos de alto nivel como el Secretario General de Agricultura y Alimentación del Ministerio de Agricultura y Pesca, Alimentación y Medio Ambiente (MAPAMA), Carlos Cabanas, que está previsto inaugure el evento, y, Carmen Vela, Secretaria de Estado de Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación del Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad (MINECO), que clausurará esta novena edición de la Conferencia de Vet+i.
